Our Services to Charities
We specialise in dealing with the needs of charities. Our portfolio ranges from the smaller charities requiring an Independent Examination to those charities requiring an audit. We have experienced Partners, managers and staff who can offer a high level of service.
Charity Accounts
Registered Charities are required to prepare accounts in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP). We are able to assist and advise clients in the preparation of accounts that meet the statutory requirements. Our Partners and staff who are involved in Charities work attend regular courses and can advise on all aspects of Charity accounts.
Registration of Charities
We are able to assist with the applications for the Registration of new Charities with the Charity Commission and advise on incorporation.
Annual Returns
We can assist with the completion of Annual Returns for submission to the Charities Commission and Companies House, as appropriate.
Tax
We are able to advise on gift aid and the tax and VAT implications of trading by charities or through trading subsidiaries.
Payroll
Our payroll bureau offers an all round administration and processing service for both weekly and monthly payrolls using Sage payroll systems. The service includes the completion of year-end returns.
